EDITORIAL STANDARDS & GOVERNANCE

Editorial Policy & Content Guidelines

Version 2.4 · Effective October 2026 · Oversight by FormsADDA Central Quality & Verification Desk

100% Primary Sources

Direct ingestion from verified `.ac.in` and `.gov.in` servers. Zero third-party blog scraping or coaching aggregator rumors.

Strict Anti-Spam FAQs

Maximum 6 verified FAQs per notice leaf. Each answer must cite verbatim notice text or official PDF attachments.

Single-Notice Lifecycle

Corrigenda and date extensions update existing canonical URLs with version changelogs rather than spawning confusing duplicates.

Zero Hallucination

AI intelligence is strictly grounded. Dates, fee breakdowns, and eligibility scores are deterministically verified against gazette records.

Section 01

Primary Source Grounding & Truth Standards

FormsADDA is an authenticated higher education notification platform. Every bulletin, date sheet, merit list, and admission circular is ingested directly from primary institutional authorities. We reject the proliferation of clickbait headlines and speculative rumors in educational publishing.

Authoritative Sourcing MandateOur pipeline exclusively monitors statutory regulatory bodies (UGC, AICTE, NMC, BCI), national testing agencies (NTA, JoSAA, CSAB), and recognized Central, State, and Deemed universities.

Key Editorial Principles:

  • Direct Citation Linkage: Every notification page must display a direct link to the original PDF circular or university announcement URL.
  • Zero Unverified Speculation: If an application deadline or seat matrix has not been officially gazetted, our platform designates the field as "To be announced by authority" rather than projecting speculative dates.
  • Cryptographic Integrity: Ingested files are cryptographically hashed using SHA-256 to ensure that stealth updates or post-publication revisions by colleges are immediately catalogued.
Section 02

Anti-Spam FAQ Architecture (Zero Spam Farms)

We enforce strict anti-spam measures to protect students from low-quality, programmatic content farms. FAQs on FormsADDA are curated solely to provide rapid clarity on official requirements.

Strict Zero-Spam PolicyFormsADDA strictly forbids standalone FAQ dumps, category-level FAQ farms, or keyword-stuffed question blocks that offer no factual citations.

Content Standards for FAQs:

  • Leaf-Only Placement: FAQs are only permitted on individual, verified notification leaves. No generic hub or category FAQ pages are allowed.
  • Maximum 6 FAQs per Notice: A maximum of six targeted FAQs may accompany any single notification. If the official circular is self-explanatory, zero FAQs are preferred over generic boilerplate.
  • Factual Provenance: Every FAQ answer must reference facts, clauses, or fee tables present in the issuing university circular.
  • Direct Answer Priority: Key dates, eligibility criteria, and official links are always rendered prominently in the main briefing block before any auxiliary FAQs.
Section 03

Notification Lifecycle & Immutable Changelogs

Higher education admissions and examination schedules in India frequently experience extensions, postponements, and corrigenda. FormsADDA manages updates through a single-source canonical URL lifecycle.

🔄 Update, Don't Duplicate
When a deadline extends, we update the existing notification page and alert subscribed students, rather than spawning duplicate URLs.
📜 Archived Closed Records
Expired notices remain accessible as historical public archives marked "Closed" for cutoff and merit trend research.

Changelog Integrity:

Every revision to an admission date, fee structure, or eligibility threshold generates an immutable timestamped changelog entry on the notice detail page, detailing the previous value, updated value, and the official corrigendum reference number.

Section 04

Corrections, Retractions & Editorial Accountability

FormsADDA takes full responsibility for the factual accuracy of our educational briefs. In the event of an institutional change or reporting discrepancy, we adhere to a transparent 4-hour resolution SLA.

  • Priority Registrar Channel: Official notices or correction requests submitted from verified university domain emails (.ac.in / .edu.in) receive priority review.
  • Public Corrigendum Notices: If a published brief contained an erroneous date or fee, the correction is prominently marked with a notice banner explaining the revision.
  • Student Feedback Loop: Any student, educator, or parent can flag a discrepancy with the official PDF link via our dedicated portal.
